2018 Open Enrollment Period is Approaching
Fall has arrived, and with it, the beginning of the health insurance marketplace open enrollment period. The open enrollment period to sign up for health insurance for 2018 is November 1 – December 15, 2017 – only 45 days for everyone to enroll!
Last year, thousands switched to Medi-Share to cut costs and have access to a large network of providers. We are anticipating the same to happen this year. One of the great things about Medi-Share is that it does not have an open enrollment period! That’s right – you don’t have to wait until November 1st – you can sign up at any time! Learn about Medi-Share and how it works.
If you’d like to speak with one of our consultants about Medi-Share, or other alternatives to the Marketplace plans, please contact Tammy Parady to schedule a call. You do NOT have to wait until November to do this, in fact, we encourage you to speak with us before open enrollment begins, as we will have limited call times due to the compressed 45 day window.
As with traditional health plans, we do NOT recommend waiting until the last day to make your plan decision. We recommend enrolling no later than a few days before the deadline to allow enough time to review your options and select the plan that is the right fit for you. If you have questions or would like assistance finding or enrolling in a plan for 2018, please call now to schedule a time to talk about your options in November. Our calendars are filling up quickly, so be sure to call soon to reserve a spot: Call Tammy Parady at (972)-673-0045 ext 122 or email at email@example.com.
We have updated our webinar titled “Healthcare Reform 101: What the Health is Going On in 2018?” Whether you are losing coverage, need coverage, or are just confused about what to do, this webinar is for you! Watch the webinar.
Last, but certainly not least, we will send you an email during the first week of October with carrier specific information on what is happening to your existing plan for 2018. Please be on the lookout for it. If you do not receive the email by October 6th, please contact our office.
